IJINS provides a 100% APC waiver for active students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo (UMSIDA).
The waiver applies when an active UMSIDA student is listed as the first author of the manuscript, including articles co-authored with lecturers or researchers from other institutions.
Eligibility is verified using the student's active enrollment status and institutional affiliation at the time of manuscript submission.
Eligible students are not required to pay any publication fees.
APC payments are refundable in cases of duplicate payment, overpayment, or cancellation of publication initiated by the journal before publication.
Payments are non-refundable when authors withdraw accepted manuscripts or publication is cancelled due to confirmed violations of publication ethics by the authors.
Refund requests must be submitted to the journal's editorial office with proof of payment.
All manuscripts undergo editorial assessment and peer review based on scholarly quality, originality, relevance, and publication ethics.
APC payment or waiver eligibility does not influence editorial decisions, guarantee acceptance, or provide preferential publication treatment.
The APC amount, covered services, payment conditions, and waiver eligibility are disclosed before manuscript submission.
Any changes to the APC will be announced on the journal website before taking effect and will not apply retroactively to manuscripts already submitted.
This policy follows the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing established by COPE, DOAJ, OASPA, and WAME.
