        <p id="_paragraph-3">Many modern vehicles suffer from engine trouble due to decreased compression pressure, necessitating a simple and efficient measurement tool. This study develops an Arduino-based device to measure engine compression and temperature using a pressure sensor in the spark plug location and a temperature sensor in the oil gauge, with results displayed on a 16x2 I2C LCD. Testing each engine cylinder before and after heating shows that compression pressure is strongly influenced by temperature (over 80%). The tool enhances engine diagnostics, offering precise, real-time monitoring to improve vehicle maintenance and longevity.</p>

      <title>PENDAHULUAN</title>
      <p id="_paragraph-13">Jumlah kendaraan bermotor di Indonesia semakin tahun semakin bertambah, sesuai data tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa setiap tahun mengalami peningkatan jumlah produksi kendaraan bermotor. Dengan meningkatnya jumlah kendaraan bermotor tentunya harus di imbangi dengan perawatan dan perbaikan, karena itu menjadi kunci utama agar kondisi mesin terjaga dan menunjang keselamatan berkendara[1][2].</p>
      <p id="_paragraph-14">Salah satu penyebab performa mesin yang kurang bertenaga dikarenakan penurunan pada kompresi mesin, semakin lemahnya kompresi mesin tentunya berbanding lurus dengan performa yang di hasilkan[3]. Selain itu faktor usia mobil,jarak tempuh juga sangat berpengaruh, semakin muda umur mobil maka kualitas mesin juga semakin bagus artinya tekanan kompresinya juga tinggi di bandingkan dengan mobil yang sudah berjarak tempuh jauh[4].Setiap mesin memiliki tekanan yang berbeda, dimana mesin diesel memiliki tingkat kompresi yang lebih tinggi di sekitar 15-30 sedangkan mesin bensin 5-12, hal itu dikarenakan setiap mobil memiliki cc yang berbeda dengan kapasitas mesin yang berbeda pula sehingga dengan lebih besarnya kompresi maka tenaga yang di hasilkan juga lebih besar[5][6].</p>
      <p id="_paragraph-15">Dengan cara pengecekan pada tiap silinder maka akan di peroleh hasil yang maksimal, selain itu suhu mesin pada saat pengukuran juga sangat berpengaruh terhadap hasil, semakin tinggi suhu maka tekanan kompresi juga semakin padat begitu juga sebaiknya, selisih pada pengukuran tiap silinder 0,5 Bar (7.2 Psi) masih di katagorikan normal, sedangkan apabila selisihnya melebihi batas tersebut dapat dikatakan terdapat masalah pada silinder tersebut[7][8][9].</p>
      <p id="_paragraph-16">Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut maka dibuatlah alat yang berfungsi untuk mengukur tekanan kompresi kendaraan dengan batas tekanan 0-12 Bar, dengan menggunakan arduino R3 sebagai mikrokontrollernya yang terhubung dengan sensor tekanan dan sensor suhu DS18B20[10][11][12][13]. Dimana sensor tekanan dipasang pada tempat busi dan sensor suhu pada tempat pengecekan ketinggian oli sehingga dapat mengetahui pengaruh suhu ketika mesin diuji dalam kondisi mesin dingin serta kondisi ketika sudah melawati pemanasan mesin terlebih dahulu, dan menampilkan hasil pembacaan pada LCD 16x2 I2C agar mempermudah pembacaan dan mengetahui pada silinder manakah yang terjadi penurunan kompresi mesin[14][15][16][17].</p>

    <sec id="sec-2">
      <title>METODE</title>
      <p id="_paragraph-17">Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Research and Development. Dimana dilakukan perancangan terlebih dahulu selanjutnya pengujian terhadap alat.</p>
      <p id="_paragraph-18">Akan ada dua sensor yang akan terhubung dengan arduino yaitu sensor tekanan dan sensor suhu, dimana sensor tekanan akan di sambungkan ke tempat busi kendaraan yang berada di bagian silinder mesin sedangkan sensor suhu dipasang pada bagian tempat pengecekan ketinggian oli mesin kendaraan. Setelah di lakukan pengukuran hasil pengukuran akan di tampilkan pada LCD 16x2 I2C. Berikut merupakan blog diagram sistem yang digunakan pada Gambar 1.</p>

      <p id="_paragraph-20">flowchart sistem menjelaskan cara kerja alat ukur tekanan kompresi dan suhu pada mesin kendaraan berbasis arduino, dimulai dari memasukkan program aplikasi software arduino IDE, setelah itu alat di jalankan untuk mengukur kompresi mesin dan suhu. Apabila sensor tekanan membaca data tekanan kompresi anatara 0-12 Bar dan sensor suhu dapat membaca suhu 0-125˚C saat pengukuran serta hasilnya tampil pada layar LCD16x2 I2C maka alat siap digunakan. Apabila salah satu atau kedua sensor belom melakukan pembacaan atau tidak terbaca maka proses memasukkan coding dan pemasangan alat bisa di cek kembali. Berikut merupakan flowchart sistem yang digunakan pada Gambar 2.</p>

      <title>
        <bold id="bold-3276514d305fa0a561f0e95b28c61bd2">HASIL DAN PEMBAHASAN</bold>
      </title>
      <p id="_paragraph-32">Pengujian dilakukan dengan menggunakan tiga jenis mobil yang berbeda dengan dua waktu pengukuran yang berbeda sebelum dan sesudah proses pemanasan mesin, dimana pengujian dilakukan pada tiap silinder mesin kendaraan.</p>

      <p id="_paragraph-44">Dari kedua data yang sudah di peroleh langkah berikutnya dilanjutkan dengan menghitung rho, agar dapat menegetahui hubungan antara kenaikan suhu dan kenaikan tekanan[18][19]</p>
      <p id="_paragraph-45">Karena hasil rho 0.84 maka dikatagorikan kuat, hubungan antara kenaikan suhu dengan kenaikan tekanan kompresi. Hal itu dapat dilihat pada tabel 4.4 interpretasi data korelasi rank spearman.</p>

      <p id="_paragraph-48">Dari perhitungan koefisien determinasi di atas maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel kenaikan tekanan dipengaruhi oleh kenaikan suhu sebesar 70% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel yang lain.</p>

      <title>KESIMPULAN</title>
      <p id="_paragraph-81">Dari hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan meliputi proses perancangan alat sampai pengujian terhadap alat, maka dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa, pengujian alat kompresi tetap harus melakukan proses pemanasan, sebaiknya pengujian dilakukan pada suhu mesin di atas 30˚C agar kondisi accu mobil dalam kondisi normal sehingga pada proses pengambilan data tekanan kompresi tidak terjadi kendala. Selain itu pengambangan alat pada penelitian ini sangat efektif karena setiap silinder umumnya memiliki tekanan yang berbeda, hasil tersebut dapat dilihat apabila menggunakan alat ukur digital yang dikembangkan. Apabila menggunakan alat ukur analog perubahan nilai tekanan sulit terbaca.</p>
      <p id="_paragraph-82">Tekanan kompresi mengalami perubahan seiring dengan perubahan suhu mesin, dengan meningkatnya suhu mesin kendaraan tersebut maka tekanan kompresi juga akan meningkat. Hal itu dapat di lihat dari hasil hitung korelasi rank spearman yang menyatakan hubungan antara naiknya suhu dan naiknya tekanan kompresi berada di atas 80% pada level kuat selain itu meningkatnya tekanan kompresi tidak hanya di pengaruhi oleh meningkatnya tekanan suhu, namun ada variabel lain yang mempengaruhi. Hal itu dapat dilihat pada hasil perhitungan koefisien determinasi.</p>
