        <p id="_paragraph-3">This study addresses the need for a practical, fast, and accurate digital meter by developing an Arduino Nano-based infrared laser distance sensor. Using the Research and Development (R&amp;D) method, the system was designed with block diagrams, flowcharts, hardware layouts, and software programming. The device can measure distances from 5 cm to 55 meters and accurately assess non-transparent objects. However, it struggles with transparent objects and bright light sources. These results demonstrate the meter's efficiency and suggest areas for further improvement.</p>

      <title>Pendahuluan</title>
      <p id="_paragraph-13">Dijaman sekarang informasi harus cepat terakses tidak terkecuali alat ukur yang semakin canggih akan sangat membantu jika kecepatan dan ketepatan alat ukur dapat diketahui dengan cepat dan akurat[1]. Alat pengukur jarak banyak digunakan pada industri di bidang kontruksi, dimana pengukuran yang dilakukan oleh manusia akan memakan waktu yang cukup lama dan mengakibatkan pemborosan tenaga dan akan mengurangi efisiensi waktu pada saat melakukan pengukuran[2]. Pemilihan meteran harus memperhatikan beberapa hal supaya saat penggunaannya dapat dipergunakan secara cepat, akurat dan mudah untuk dipergunakan[3].</p>
      <p id="_paragraph-14">Selaras dengan perkembangan jaman, dibutuhkan meteran yang praktis yaitu proses pengukuran cepat, pembacaan hasil pengukuran akurat, mudah digunakan, serta hasil pengukuran dapat ditampilkan secara digital. Dengan adanya meteran yang praktis tadi bisa mempercepat waktu pengukuran.Permasalahan diatas melatar belakangi penulis untuk membuat sebuah meteran laser yang praktis. Dengan adanya meteran laser yang praktis tadi bisa mempercepat waktu pengukuran. Maka penulis mencoba untuk membuat meteran laser digital pada penelitian ini dengan judul “Rancang Bangun Meteran Digital Jarak 50 Meter Menggunakan Sensor Infrared Laser Distance Berbasis Arduino Nano”.</p>

        <bold id="bold-2">Sensor Infrared Laser Distance</bold>
      </p>
      <p id="_paragraph-15">Sensor Ini adalah sensor jarak laser IR yang efektif biayanya yang memiliki akurasi tinggi, deteksi jarak jauh, laser IR yang terlihat, dan FOV kecil. Menawarkan rentang pengukuran 0,05 ~ 50m untuk penggunaan outdoor. Dengan output port serial, ini kompatibel dengan semua jenis papan kontroler seperti Arduino. Sensor ini dapat digunakan dalam aplikasi seperti pendaratan otomatis UAV, skala elektronik, dll[4].</p>

      </p>
      <p id="_paragraph-17">Arduino Nano ini berukuran lebih kecil dan compact. Fungsionalitas si kecil Nano ini mirip dengan abangnya Uno tetapi dengan harga yang lebih murah. Alasannya, komunikasi USB to serial di handle oleh IC CH340 yang lebih lebih ekonomis namun tak sedikitpun menurunkan fungsinya. Arduino Nano ini memiliki beberapa keunggulan. Pertama, karena menggunakan IC SMD ATmega328P-AU, analog input Nano ada 8, bukan 6 seperti Uno. Kedua, Nano lebih breadboard friendly sehingga lebih memudahkan melakukan prototyping di breadboard[5].</p>

      </p>
      <p id="_paragraph-19">OLED LCD I2C 0,96” adalah salah satu media yang dapat digunakan sebagai display output untuk modul Arduino atau controller lainnya. Memiliki kelebihan yakni kontras pixel yang sangat tajam serta tidak membutuhkan cahaya backlight sehingga hemat dalam konsumsi daya. Kekurangan dari OLED adalah menggunakan single colour ukurannya yang relative lebih kecil dari LCD grafik atau dari LCD TFT[6].</p>

      </p>
      <p id="_paragraph-21">Baterai 9 volt adalah ukuran umum baterai yang mudah dijumpai dimasyarakat karena harga yang relative murah. Baterai ini berbentuk prisma persegi panjang dan mempunyai ujung bulat dan konektor snap yang terpolarisasi pada bagian atas. Baterai ini mempunyai dua terminal dan konektor snap disalah satu ujungnya[7].</p>

      </p>
      <p id="_paragraph-23">Push Button on-off dapat kita kategorikan sebagai saklar, karena fungsinya adalah menghubungkan (ON) dan memutuskan (OFF) suatu sistem kerja. Cara kerja push button on-off adalah akan terhubung (ON) apabila ditekan sekali dan tombol posisi kedalam, akan terputus (OFF) apabila ditekan sekali dan tombol posisi keluar[8].</p>

      <p id="_paragraph-25">Box Plastik X3 biasa digunakan untuk keperluan DIY Komponen, serta melindungi dari cipratan air langsung ke komponen yang ada didalamnya. Box Plastik X3 memiliki dimensi panjang 10cm lebar 7,5cm dan tinggi 3,5cm serta sudah dilengkapi dengan 4 pcs sekrup sebagai pengunci tutup box[9].</p>

      </title>
      <p id="_paragraph-27">Pada penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&amp;D). Research and Development adalah metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengembangkan produk tertentu, dan menguji keefektifan produk tersebut[10]. Bentuk pengembangan pada penelitian ini yakni penggunaan komponen yang berbeda dari penelitian sebelumnya sehingga menghasilkan variasi produk.</p>
      <p id="_paragraph-28">Perancangan sistem dilakukan supaya alat yang dibuat berfungsi dengan baik dan benar. Perancangan sistem pada penelitian ini terdiri dari blok diagram, flowchart sistem, perancangan hardware, dan perancangan software yaitu pemprogaman mikrokontroler sehingga alat bisa bekerja.</p>

      <p id="_paragraph-33">Perancangan software pada penelitian ini menggunakan software Arduino IDE 2.0.3. Perancangan software ini bertujuan untuk membuat progam Arduino nano supaya Sensor Infrared Laser Distance bisa mengukur jarak obyek yang dinginkan lalu hasil dari pembacaan sensor tersebut bisa ditampilkan di layar OLED.</p>

      <title>Kesimpulan</title>
      <p id="_paragraph-42">Berdasarkan analisa data hasil pengujian alat diperoleh beberapa kesimpulan antara lain :</p>
      <p id="paragraph-b3851eb2e341c2718278b5762c8d27b5">1. Jarak terendah obyek yang bisa diukur oleh alat yaitu 5 cm dan jarak terjauh obyek yang bisa diukur oleh alat yaitu hingga sampai 55 meter.</p>
      <p id="paragraph-55101878a51dad3ab148304b7df5e2fd">2. Alat bisa mengukur jarak obyek yang tidak bisa meneruskan sinar laser seperti pada obyek pengujian yaitu cermin, kayu, besi, plastik, tembok, manusia, boneka berbulu, dan spon.</p>
      <p id="paragraph-282cf6aef39db88dbb05ce2c50468cc4">3. Alat tidak bisa mengukur jarak obyek yang bisa meneruskan sinar laser tapi yang terukur adalah obyek yang terkena laser dibelakangnya seperti pada obyek pengujian yaitu kaca bening dan air.</p>
      <p id="paragraph-e962158f587499807e3b20d515268e18">4. Alat tidak bisa mengukur jarak obyek bersinar terang seperti pada obyek pengujian yaitu lampu menyala.</p>
